Pocono Art Lodge House Party - San Francisco, CA

So much food. So many good people. So much music. Damn, we love house parties. Cuz they're better.

This one was hosted by the Pocono Art Lodge as a sort of going away party for Dave who's moving to Portland, Maine. What's up with Portland Maine? It seems to be the place where people are moving these days. Seriously. It's Karen's third friend in a month to go bye bye. And she's only got 5 friends, so shit....the last two better stick around.

But anyway, this was a pretty cool party. Karen got to reminisce about her old days at the University of Miichigan in Ann Arbor cuz practically the entire party was infested by ex-U of Mers. Coincidence really, but pretty fun to go back to all the collegate fun. And this band called Captain Dave and the Psycadelic Lounge Cats were the BOMB DIGGITY when she was in school there. Anyone who was ANYone was at Rick's American Cafe on a Saturday night to party with the Captain and his Meat Dancers. But Karen wasn't cool enough then to befriend these legends.

BUT SHE IS NOW!!! They were all at the party, and she was validated.

We played, and the 6 million Dollar Band played. And Captain Dave played. And the rain held off, and we had a great time.

Even cooked s'mores.
