This was Mark's birthday. What better to do after a long night of tequila shots with his friends, then bake in the hot sun of the Mission and play outside at the bart station?

It's always cool. A built in audience of passersby, some familiar faces, and once in a while a brand new Beautiful Engines appreciator.

Yeah, Mark was pretty hungover. But he's a rock n roller til the end, and when he said we were gonna play this gig, you can be sure shootin' he meant it.

Just 1:00 til 2:00. That's all it took. Just a little fun. A lot of sweat and sunblock and we made some money for burritos and aqua frescas. Plus, Mark got a birthday card from a cute older lady that caught our set. We'll call her Grandma Engine. She even inserted a dollar tip.
