Thee Parkside - San Francisco, CA
Yee haw! I love the Hazardous Dukes. They're fun to watch, they groove so very hard, they're totally sweet guys and if ya feel like dancin' they oblige. I felt like dancin' cuz it was my birthday the next day, and I was gonna be 22. Or was that 32? oh hell, I don't know.
And I love Thee Parkside. The outdoor patio with those cool gas heater lamps, ping pong table, slider-servin' kitchen. The bar staff that are intimidating and friendly at the same time. Simple bar, parking available, low stage, nothin' foofy. Yes.
I guess they also upgraded their sound system too. I couldn't see it, cuz they keep it in another room (how does a sound guy do sound from another room?), but it sounded good that night, so I believe the rumors.
This band Doublewide was supposed to play that night. But they cancelled at the last minute, and these other cats called Slightly Creepy filled in. Very nice of them. Radio friendly punk rock, is how I would describe them.
I've already given many a prop to the Hazardous Dukes in the past. So you know how I feel, and I won't go into it again. Just check the other show history pages. I'm sure you'll see them somewhere.
Thanks for having us, fellas.
