The Stork Club - Oakland, CA

Shannon from the old days at Vulcan Radio (R.I.P.) is now the booker/bartender at the Stork Club. That's very cool, cuz she's nice.

She stuck us on the bill last minute after being asked by our buddies in Montana if we could play with them. Thanks!

Now Montana is a band that we know well. The drummer Jeffrey Paul is Karen's neighbor, and ALSO plays drums in Clevergirl. HIS long-time pal since babyhood is Gary, the bassist. Now GARY works with Sam the guitarist and lead singer. And they all rehearse in the studio behind Karen and Jeff's house.

Cute huh?

This was our first show together. It was the first show Gary and Jeff have played in an official club together (just bbqs and warehouse parties all these years).

Thanks for havin' us, boys!! Wish it was an easier time for us all. No stage monitors sucks huh?

Ah well, we had fun.
